Wolverhampton Course

Following a decision by Wolverhampton council to no longer offer local courses we along with all Operators are no longer able to host local courses. Please see below for the information we received from Wolverhampton along with how to get on a course. if things change we will update here but for the foreseeable future the process is outlined below.

Following a meeting in Wolverhampton of the Regulatory Committee on 10.07.24 we have been informed that changes have been approved to the Licensing Policy. These changes directly effect the services we can offer. The policy now states that:

“All driver training and vehicle licence application inspections are to take place in the city, with no new bookings accepted out of area”.

We can still deliver and offer the same service, but it must be at a venue within the city of Wolverhampton. Course requests should still be submitted through the portal in the normal way.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR AAA IS THAT WE CAN NO LONGER HOST OUR TRAINING EVENTS AT SOUTH MIMMS. IF YOU OR ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS WISH TO BECOME A WOLVERHAMPTON LICENSED DRIVER THEN YOU HAVE TO ATTEND A TRAINING COURSE IN WOLVERHAMPTON.
